My name is Justin Agoglia, Principal at Skylar Design, and I specialize in handcrafting responsive web designs using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, typography, and anything pertaining to front-end web design and development but with a far GREATER PURPOSE. With over a decade of experience, every site is designed with passion and coded with meticulous care.

My Story
As a young boy, I dreamed of becoming a professional athlete. I played several sports but excelled at soccer. I played it four times a year and would have played five if I could fit it into my schedule. That all changed my senior year of high school after a life-changing baseball accident. Those dreams of ever playing pro ball would never be realized. So I decided to focus my attention on academia and spent eight years in the clinical world of psychology. I learned quite a bit but never felt it was my calling. Then I ran into a friend of mine in one of the computer labs. We were both in grad school at the time and she was writing code for the Communications School website.
As I glanced at her screen, I vividly remembered asking, "How in the world do you understand that stuff?" She looked at me with a smile and said, "Aww, you could do this also." Then I laughed because there was no way I could possibly learn what she was doing. In my world, that was for geeks. Little did I know a year later, I would become one. The web has been my home for many years now. It allows me to "play" as I like to create stuff. I enjoy the challenge of taking something that is broken and making it new and usable once again. But most of all, I enjoy making the web a more beautiful and delightful place for you and I to visit. Learn more about my story.
